A Transparent Admissions Procedure

The entire process of admission is carried out by adopting a transparent procedure for filling up Category-A and Category-B seats, in line with State Government and APSCHE guidelines.

Seat Categories & Eligibility

Two routes of entry into our B.Tech programmes

Category A

Convener Quota

Category-A seats are filled up by the Convener of Admissions, EAMCET, based on the ranks of the candidates, following the rule of reservation.

Eligibility

  • Pass in Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent
  • Minimum 45% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry
  • Qualified EAMCET — conducted by the State Government
Category B

Management Quota

Category-B seats are filled up by the Management of the college, following the guidelines issued by APSCHE.

Eligibility

  • Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
  • No EAMCET qualification required
Other Pathways

Lateral Entry & Post-Graduate Admissions

B.Tech 3-Year Course
(Diploma Holders)

  • Diploma holders are admitted into the second year of B.Tech up to 10% of intake, based on merit in ECET, under the lateral entry scheme.
  • No B-Category (Management Quota) seats are available for lateral entry into II Year B.Tech.

M.Tech Admission
(Computer Science Engineering)

B.E. / B.Tech in CSE or IT branch of Engineering, or post-graduation in M.Sc / MCA, with a valid GATE score or eligibility at PGECET.

Eligibility

General Qualification

The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the B.Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10+2) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto, with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.

Admissions to the College are made along with the other Engineering Colleges in the State through a common entrance test (EAMCET) conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.

  • Valid Score Card (JEE Main/State CET)
  • Domicile/Migration Certificate (if applicable)
  • Category Certificate (for reserved categories)
  • Recent Passport-size Photographs
  • Aadhar Card

Important Notes

  • All documents must be in PDF or JPG format (max 2MB each)
  • Documents in regional languages must include English translation
  • Original documents will be verified during admission
  • Falsification of any document will result in admission cancellation

Yes, you can apply to up to three B.Tech programs with a single application. You'll need to indicate your program preferences in order of priority during the application process.

Yes, as per government norms, there is a relaxation of 5% in the cutoff marks for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved category students. Please refer to the reservation policy section for detailed information.

Seat allocation is done based on your merit rank, program preference order, and seat availability. You will be allocated to the highest preference program for which you qualify based on your rank.

Branch change is possible at the beginning of the second year (third semester) based on academic performance in the first year and seat availability in the desired branch. A minimum CGPA of 8.0 is required to be eligible for branch change.
