On Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, our students came together to honour the legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and celebrate the spirit of unity. Responding to the call from both central and state governments, 300 enthusiastic students participated in a Unity Run alongside personnel from the SSS district police.
This day is a poignant reminder of Patel’s immense contributions to the nation.
The event commenced at the Super Specialty Hospital, where District Collector T.N. Chetan IAS and District SP Mrs. V. Ratna IPS inaugurated the run. The participants, filled with energy and enthusiasm, made their way to the District Police Office, embodying the essence of unity and teamwork.
Upon reaching the District Police Office, the District SP lit a ceremonial lamp and paid floral tributes to the portrait of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The District SP then addressed the gathering, highlighting the greatness and visionary leadership of Sardar Patel, whose efforts were instrumental in unifying India.
The celebration continued with vibrant performances by the students. Their gymnastics and dance routines were not only impressive but also a testament to their dedication and hard work. The audience, including dignitaries and community members, applauded the students’ efforts, making the event even more memorable.
