Awareness & Guidance on Competitive Exams Event
Sanskrithi Group of Institutions had the immense privilege to host an Awareness & Guidance on competitive examinations event on Feb 25, 2023. The poster release for the event was done by Honorable District Collector, Shri Basanth Kumar, IAS.
This event brought together brilliant minds and experienced officials from various departments of civil services, focusing on groups, customs, and income tax. The officials’ contingent was led by Shri Lokanatha Reddy Garu, IRS, Chennai, with the support and guidance of Shri Uma Maheswara Reddy, DSP, Sri Sathya Sai district.
‘Contrasting from previous years, the Government has announced over 22,000 vacancies, which are vacant, primarily because of the lack of information on what, how and when. With Puttaparthi becoming the center for Sri Sathya Sai District, it is essential to educate the youth in and around the district on these posts in public services. This is the primary objective of organizing this event,’ said Shri Lokanatha Reddy, IRS official and the event’s chief guest.
Inspiring the participants with his uniform and words was Dr Yaswanth T D, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sri Sathya Sai District. To speak on their experiences from the Customs Department, were Shri Vijay Mohan, Superintendent of Customs, Chennai and Shri Mahidhar Reddy, Appraiser, Customs Department.
Shri Shivnath, VP & Expert Faculty at UPSC Guide, New Delhi, has successfully trained and coached several aspirants to crack these examinations. advised the participants on how to prepare for these examinations. These examinations require focused, planned, and long-term preparation. Luck plays a very minor role. Hard work is the key, he said.
Dr Yaswanth TD, Dy SP recollected the struggles, sacrifice, and commitment of all police personnel. Perseverance and self-motivation are the keys to cracking these examinations. Avoid multiple sources of information for preparation.
Narrating his experiences as a Customs officer, Shri Vijay Mohan cited moments that made the job worth all the long tireless hours.
“Read. Revise. Repeat.” Was the new RRR formula suggested by Shri Mahidhar Reddy to the aspirants preparing for the upcoming examinations.
Following the talks was the Q&A session, where the dignitaries patiently handled the questions put forward by the participants.
Mr Vijay Reddy, Chairperson, Sanskrithi Group of Institutions and Dr Bala Koteswari, Dean, Sanskrithi Group felicitated the esteemed guests. Awards for academic performance were given to the student toppers and faculty for a 100% pass percentage in their subjects.
The event concluded with the National Anthem.
