Salesforce Workshop by Bengaluru Trailblazers, Aug 31 & Sep 01, 2024

A noble thought is only as good as its execution. It is not enough to merely conceive grand ideas; they must be brought to life through diligent effort and unwavering commitment. True to their vision of giving back to society and paying forward to the students, the Bengaluru Trailblazer Community Group team visited the campus for a two-day workshop on Salesforce for our 2025 graduating students on Aug 31 & Sep 01, 2024.

The workshop covered a comprehensive range of topics, from the basics of CRM and cloud computing to more advanced features like process automation and analytics. The team didn’t just teach; they inspired students to think creatively about how they could leverage Salesforce in their future careers. They offered guidance, answered questions, and provided insights based on their own professional experiences.The workshop covered a comprehensive range of topics, ensuring that students gained both foundational knowledge and advanced skills in Salesforce. Here are some of the key topics that were covered:

  1. Introduction to CRM and Cloud Computing: Understanding the basics of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and the benefits of cloud computing.
  2. Salesforce Platform Overview: A deep dive into the Salesforce ecosystem, including its various clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.).
  3. Data Modeling and Management: Learning how to create and manage data models, including objects, fields, and relationships.
  4. Process Automation: Exploring tools like Workflow Rules, Process Builder, and Flow to automate business processes.
  5. Security and Access: Understanding Salesforce’s security model, including profiles, roles, and permission sets.
  6. Reports and Dashboards: Creating and customizing reports and dashboards to visualize data and gain insights.
  7. App Development: An introduction to developing custom applications using Salesforce’s declarative tools and Apex programming.
  8. Integration: Basics of integrating Salesforce with other systems using APIs and middleware.
  9. Analytics: Leveraging Salesforce’s analytics capabilities to make data-driven decisions.
